Best Altcoin to Mine to Noob

Hello,
I am new to mining and am currently building a machine just to get my feet wet.  Doing a basic system with a single GTX 1080 ti and will look to upgrade to more GPUs as i get more comfortable.  My real question is what is the recommendation with that setup that I should mining?  I was going to start with Vertcoin for the one click mining which seems like a easy place to start but was wondering others opinions.

Agreed. It's also quite interesting to watch the all the rigs when they crossover to another coin all at once as well
