I have an alternative proposal for a platform built on top of Ethereum. Ethereum is a big improvement over bitcoin because of the way it implements contracts. But it still retains one of bitcoin's big weaknesses: each client must still keep a copy of the whole blockchain. I recognize that alternatives are being suggested but nothing good has yet been implemented. I have developed an alternative concept (no implementation yet) that will build on top of the current Ethereum codebase but will provide an alternative mechanism so that each client does not have to keep a copy of the whole blockchain. A side benefit, therefore, is that the transactions will become orders of magnitude faster. I am happy to describe the details of this proposal (it will all be open source anyway) if there is any interest. Also, may be a knowledgeable reader can point me to how I should go about publicizing this and where. Thanks in advance for your help.
