I was shocked today when my miners disconnected from suprnova and couldn't reconnect to the pool.
Soon I realized that many other pools were down (flypool, nanopool, coinmine etc.), and all thanks to company called OVH, huge cloud storage provider.
I can understand that incidents can happen, but for God sake, how is it possible that pools have backups with the same company, while OVH doesn't have their backups on some other, remote location, which would decrease incident influence backups as well. I guess millions of dollars were lost in those 4-5 hours.
Your opinion guys, any insider piece of information?
