Maybe they think they were scam because they are first timer in using any kind of exchange sometimes you don't know you been mistaken in inputting your address or mistaken in inputting your coin.

A detail information on how he hacked you Will be welcomed. For others to learn to avoid such mistake

initially I follow bounty on one website .. I forgot what the name of the website .. just fill in the address and email course conditions. after that there is an incoming email from the website itself. I open the email there is a gmail team warning  that the email I received contains a fishing virus .. but already  click that email. the next day when I checked the wallet was empty..

Thats why i never click any mails from ico's i follow. I just simple place them in my spam folder. I always know that when you give your address they can check the balance so they will send a virus link.

To prevent that i usely make more wallets. My friends are doing the same we simply don't trust other small coins.

thanks for this early awareness.   I suggest bro if you want to create eth wallet again try to choose wallet that has two factor authentication to secure your funds also no one can hack that wallet cause no one can manage on it only the person who setup the private key.  cause we cant avoid hackers if we dont use secured wallet.

Also here is a friendly advice

1. is if your giving any address make a new one that is empty

2. If any chances your wallet that requires an email make sure that you make an email address that is different like

for example:

dog10love@yahoo.com is you account which you use to create your social media account and other important stuffs that can give different information.

cat011lover@yahoo.com is the account you should use for cryptocurrency related and electronic wallet purposes

3. If this scammer talk to you about high value return that is the dream come true in one click, stop and think.

4. Ask a background of him on what he offers you and if you feel there is something stop. But if you cant recognize or tell invest a small amount.

yea now i already have a new one for next bounty and airdrop,,   but the last bounty still  entered is still to the old MEW address..  many bounty and airdrop have done at the last time..

the account is still newbe, you check and send a message because he is onlien ..
wondering what he wants, token in a sensitive wallet only nominal writing can not be handheld.
feel smart and innocent they (hackers) take tokens in the wallet .. if it is, very harmful

Never ever open emails without the real address of the company itself.
This is all your fault.
There is enough warning for everyone and this is actually an old style of an attack.
First ones where the slack channels which have a different MEW website URL and then this one.
Now you know what to do next time. I bet he already cleaned up your address with all your funds.

Let this be a lesson to you.
You're most likely never getting anything back, so all you can do is try to learn from this. Maybe this has prevented something bigger happening in the future Wink.
