Hello. So I found out my EVGA 850 BQ is not enough for 3x r9 280x.

I am asking which is better:

- Some normal psu, but 1kW or 1.2kW (eg. EVGA, Corsair)
or
- Server PSU and some old 350W PSU I have here.

Thanks.

That server PSU is 240V only. Server PSU's are also made to run in an isolated server room and don't have any consideration to how loud they are. For a living space, you are better off with an ATX PSU.

Also do not get a cheap PSU and run it 24/7, unless you want to burn your components along with your house  . Get atleast a bronze 80+ rate psu for your GPU.

I already have one... But there are no adapters for it (because its 2kW). So I know how loud it is and that it works here.
