Go to first unread post

Every time I enter Bitcointalk I go to "Show new replies to your posts." to see what's new, but I don't see a icon or link that would take me to the last post made after my last visit. Instead I click and go to the last post published and must scroll back to find the last post seen by me.

I am a member of many forums and they have this option. Can BCT add it to?

You should go to "Profile" and then "Show the last posts of this person"

You didn't get the point, I don't want to see last posts of a person, I want to start reading a topic from the last post unread by me forward!

See this print from another forum as example:



This topic has 951 pages but yesterday, when I last read it, it only had 950, but if I click on that "last post" icon I go to the last post unread by me and not the last post of the topic.

This way it's easier to track any reply made after my reading

This one would better fit in Meta as it's a suggestion of a feature rather than an off-topic non forum related question, Anyhow I know that feature and it's pretty useful, but considering the size of the forum it wouldn't work since the "Replies" would be almost all the topics you posted in.

The solution I use is to add my favourite topic to my browser bookmarks and add this code at the ende of the link ".new;topicseen#new"

As an example for this topic, it would look like this: "https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1990762.new;topicseen#new"

But this should be a temporary solution, not permanent!

Actually, there is a solution! At the time I didn't noticed it!

There is a new button right after the topic name that will redirect you to the last unread post.
