thanks for all the replies and comments, we already know what we are doing and are currently doing just that, I was asking what "your dream setups would be" not for any advice.

I know what our setup is and we know that it works for us.

With this amount, I should buy about 1000 GTX 1070 and the rigs associated.

It will need at least 150 kW.

You guys are too harsh.

it's a nice theoretical question to ask, and if someone is in the know it is useful for all to hear about suggestions.

The first few answers, concerning getting the room and environmental factors ready, is the best first steps to take. Second then look at what you wish to mine and with what devices.

Since you asked specifically about altcoin mining (as opposed to buying altcoins as some people have suggested) I've listed a couple things that I'd think about.

I think it depends on how much electricity costs in their area, and what specifically they'd like to mine.

For equihash type coins go NVidia. For ethash possibly AMD or get a mix of both and mine with nicehash for whatever is most profitable.

If electricity is expensive, possibly go for NVidia gtx 1060 or 1070's. They tend to use less electricity and you can power limit them pretty well without losing too much mining power.

They'll have to think about cooling and ventilation (keep dust away!) cable management, internet connectivity, software to use (prob go Linux based).

I would probably suggest to the person to spend enough to get one mining rig up and running, and then re-evaluate if he wants to drop the whole $450k.

I know what our setup is and we know that it works for us.

Solar panels farming with the bitcoin mining antminer s9 is the good way to invest like giving electricity for the needy people like farmers is my dream project and doing all the works for it. Please understand that bitcoin is the biggest source for the users and makes life better with the bitcoins.
If you have your own dream project means try to implement it instead of commenting back no need of advice and lock as soon as possible.
