ETC is moving, what's the reason?

Is there anything happening with ETC?  It seems like all the advancements are happening on ETH, and the all the new coins (for better or for worse) are being launched as Etherium Tokens ... I know the reasons behind ETC being forked, but it doesn't seem to have a purpose on than being a reminder of a major DAO failure.

Ethereum Classic prices move higher against the US Dollar and Bitcoin. ETC / USD may soon break its highest price.
There is a slow and steady fall in price ETC

I think it's just another game from pump and dump, I dont heard any good news or any big investors are interested in etc, etc has been stop moving for a long time and the pirce moving is like moving forward and backward, and I dont think it will rise for a long time

ETC price in the dip too long ( 9-11$ ). So when sewgit2x not happen, people start buying it. That why ETC price get up fast.

I guess that current pump is because of the Ethereum Classic Summit event. The ETC team has great success during last few months with new releases and partners. So anticipation of good news has lead to price growing.
