Changing my name in Localbitcoins.com

I just signed up with Localbitcoins.com. I put an order to buy bitcoin and I start chatting with the seller. His/her name was screen name (not real life name) while mine was the real name. Can I change that? If yes how.

It's not possible so you will have to make another account. You can deactivate your phone number and change email address in your old account so you associate them with the new one and If you don't want from your old account to show for users or in search engines, just make account deletion request.

Thanks for your reply. Not scared but I do not want to be different. I saw many people using screen names not real name and also for security reasons just in case if none knows my real name that might help a bit to be more secured. I might be wrong.

You should make sure that the one with whom you are dealing has verified his/her name because there are many traders who want to scam you. I was about to got scammed today for btc to neteller deal (I was selling btc) he sent me fake email looks like from neteller and said payment sent. They can also make fake screenshot,.... only trade with the one with some good trade history + trading volume.

Thank you very much for the hint. As a buyer, what should I be worry off? Some they accept Interac and some ask for cash in person.
If I go with Interac, what should I ask the seller to provide me, or I should only be worry when I am selling?
