If you are loggin in to see bittrex has blocked your ip address, I think you should read this and think about it before you open another scam accusation.

im gonna go out on a limb and say that the government pushed them in to blocking some sites from accessing the platform.

Does it suck? Hell yes.

Is it fair? Hell no.

Is Bittrex at fault? I dont know, but as far as I can tell it seems to me the lack of comment on the matter is very telling

The fact they have not been here talking about it more than likely tells us that this action was ordered under seal, and that bittrex has been banned from commenting on it. Now that we are seeing what countries are banned (SY and IR) for example... This is more and more clear to me. If you see a large amount of customers from say Ireland or the Uk getting blocked in this manner, let me know.

The US has trade restrictions against Iran for example, and we are actively fighting in Syria ( even though the US doesn't belong there but that's my opinion)  so bittrex cant legally do business with customers from there.

As for the legality of blocking the funds for those customers, there is nothing you can do about it. Really...

Lets think this over...

Your country is under sanctions from the US government. How do you suppose you are going to file a lawsuit over it? You cant sure Bittrex, they are under order from the government. You cant sue the US government... you simply have no status to take any action. The money is more than likely still there. You will have to wait till the sanctions are lifted to get access to it. With Trump in office, its unlikely that will happen, so you might be able to try again after he is no longer president.

Im not trying to be a jerk... and please dont think I am not sympathetic to your problem... I just dont see this getting resolved anytime soon, and I dont see Bittrex as the bad guy here.

If you have screenshots showing your balances, by all means hold on to them in case things change. You may have to prove what you had in there if it takes years to sort this all out. It might actually take years too, so dont doubt that.,

I'm fairly certain that the problem most people with bittrex have is not because it is illegal to use bittrex in their country but rather the fact that bittrex did not process their withdrawal and it keeps pending or their account gets suspended for no reason.

Also seen people that has issues verifying themselves against the public records that bittrex checks against.

It's still valid to write scam accusations against bittrex, they can't be entitled to do anything to customer funds.

Thats what I am saying...

If they are living in a country that the US is telling them they cant do business with, and showing it by blocking ip addresses from whole country regions, opening scam accusations wont help in the least.
There are lots of verified users who can withdraw just fine, and there are LOTS of users who just found accounts banned by ip address.

I just think there is more to this than bittrex just keeping the money. By all means, put the scam report in. But the very fact that bittrex is not responding to all this tells me there is more to this story.

I would also like to point out I dont work for, get paid by, or have any interest in bittrex. I set up an account there to see what the deal was, and from the US I was able to do so without a problem. The warnings about
not being able to withdraw funds unless you are verified bothered me, so I would not make a deposit there anyway. The fact they are in the US and regulated means nothing as anyone from cryptsy can tell ya
