I would advise you to use Bitcoin Core for your computer. I think this is the best wallet for cold storage.

To be honest coin.ph is the best wallet in our country if you want to hodl your bitcoins this wallet is the best because this is secured and so fast than others and low fees so if you here in philippines try coin.ph this is the best coin wallet.

As said above, Bitcoin core is a good choice, but you should also buy a hardware wallet for more security, for example Ledger Nano S.

Agreed with above poster, just use a hardware wallet such as ledger nano or trezor. It's definitely the safest.

a ledger nano s OR a trezor or BOTH, to cross check that you can recreate your account from one device on the other . Yes, I am aware that you can read on the net you can, but there is nothing that calms your mind more than checking it yourself.

no it is not. It is online. They can close. Do you remember Mt Gox? It was a very good wallet at the time, too. That awareness is of little use to guys that lost their money when it closed.

I use electrum
Your private keys are encrypted and never leave your computer.
Your funds can be recovered from a secret phrase.
Electrum is fast, because it uses servers that index the Bitcoin blockchain.
You can export your private keys and use them in other Bitcoin clients.
Electrum servers are decentralized and redundant. Your wallet is never down.
Electrum Wallet verifies all the transactions in your history using SPV.

I think the best is blockchain, because its very simple and they hold your private key safe for you. Its a very popular online wallet for bitcoin and my friends are also using it.

You can also hold offline wallets, but then you are holding the private key and you could get hacked.

I think Blockchain is the best wallet to hold your bitcoins. I have used blockchain about 3 years and did not get any problem. Blockchain security is also very good, when we login from different devices we will be asked for confirmation email, blockchain also comes with Two Factor Authentication that we can connect with our mobile phone.

There are several options you can choose from, you can either use paper wallet printed out from offline computer and safely store that paper by laminating it with plastic. Put it somewhere safe where no-one can access it.

Another option is to use hardware wallets like trezor, ledger wallet but you need to learn about them before putting anything in it. You should learn how hardware wallets actually works first.
