The bitcoin price has achieved a new all-time high at $8,040, within a week since it dipped below $5,600 on Sunday. Analysts expect the price of bitcoin to surge even further by the end of 2017, upon the entrance of institutional investors and retail traders through Coinbase, CBOE, Gemini, and CME.

I am also a little bit surprised about the price of bitcoin. But bitcoin has instant changes in one day. In the following days bitcoin will still continue to behave like in November. In December it may gain much more price and we will end this year with the price of bitcoin as 10000 USD. Then all of us will be rich.  Smiley

If you factor in that a large percentage of Bitcoin Cash sellers are buying back BTC and some speculators are buying BTC

because there are some rumours of BTC going "Wall Street" ...then a price of $10 000 per bitcoin would not be too far fetched

for the end of 2017. It also seems as if a big chuck of that was also because of political instability in Zimbabwe and people

panic buying over there.  Wink

Yes, that is not far from reality. In my hood, a lot of neighbors ask me about bitcoins and most of them have bought a few from me. The point is, since the price of bitcoin became fairly attractive, the new adapters are coming in at the moment... I won't be surprised once bitcoin hits 10k next week. As long as Roger Ver keeps his dirty jobs away, BTC will surely be a sweet deal.

Anyway, there is an awesome coin called Angel Token, if you want to know more about it just go and visit their website... you'll find it very quick  Smiley

maybe it is just me but i wouldn't say the rise happened from $5600! that was not a real price, that was a temporary manipulated price (it is more like a bug price than a real one).
if you want to take the bottom you should take something around $6900.
besides the latest ATH was around $7800 and $8040 is a 3% rise from the ATH which is stupidly small.

the CME news needs at least a 30% rise because it is a HUGE news.

There is a FOMO brewing...

It will not reach $10K within the year, methinks. However, it is quite possible that the level may be reached early next year.
