Please suggest masternode

I am looking to buy a masternode. Can experts suggest a coin that is very promising in terms:
- expected to last long
- node not so expensive

Please also explain why you think the coin is valuable. Most masternode coins seem obscure to me.

Zencash should have their secure nodes up and running any day I think. It cost 42 ZEN for a secure node and 3.5% of mined zen goes towards secure nodes.

So if there are 1000 secure nodes, each gets 7.560 ZEN per month.

And with todays prices is about $170 a month, minus VPS cost.

It all depend son the amount you have to invest, but I think Syscoin masternode is coming so is Stratis. But projects like Boscoin, Exscudo and Wagerr have masternode setup in their road so as to jump on this before it get expensive to buy

Thanks for the info. To begin with I am looking for nodes under $ 1K. Looking for something that is long term like a mining rig.

Zcash I say directly. Its nodes are making great amount of money if I'm not wrong. One friend of mine explained it to me weeks ago. I couldn't check the details but it should be very expensive to set up a node honestly.

Masternodes are expensive, there are cheap ones but they are risky as coins are very new so there is no mid point.
