So I am another sad owner of an ASUS G73Jh with a faulty ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 Graphics Card. I have installed every mobility driver version from stock to 10.10e to 13.4 and nothing works when running CGMiner on any intensity. The driver crashes and the card fails, resulting in a BSOD with a 0x00000124 FATAL ERROR or GPU driver failure.
I have looked at the system and have found that it does indeed include a MXM 3.0b card. It's specs are a little off, but I don't use the HDMI port anyways. After days of searching, I have found no solution whatsoever to fixing the graphics driver issue, so I've decided to turn to the best regarding GPU drivers and came here. Does anyone know anything about getting CGMiner to work on an ASUS G73Jh? This laptop model has a HISTORY of failing. Literally every laptop under this model has issues.
I'm also looking to upgrade the MXM 3.0b card. I currently have a faulty stock 5870M card installed. I have been looking into purchasing a MXM 3.0b 7970M similar to the one available here (

After another day of searching, I have found that Enduro needs to be disabled, so this card has it disabled. Anyone have any input regarding replacing my card?
