Hi Guys,

I moved my BTC to a new Electrum wallet, then exported my private keys. Installed Electron cash, added the private keys and it says I have 0.0 BCH, I also did the same by creating a new wallet and use my old seeds. Could anyone please help me?

Check if BCH are still on your address using some explorer. e.g https://blockdozer.com

Thanks for the reply, I tracked my BCH and it moved around a few time in June-July and I have found the address where it finally stopped at. It is one of the many  addresses from Electrum and  I have entered its key into Electron cash, I entered all of the keys. It still does not show up. I will try again with just that key.

maybe it takes long time to your BCH to get in your wallet, maybe you can scan the hash of your transaction. how much block need to be passed.

I have no experience with electrum cash . Did you perform sweep or import? Sweep will create new transaction ( so now you should see on dozer the coins moved ).
Import does not do any transaction but you should see the balance immediately.

Last time I transfered BCH was pretty quick (first conf. within 5 minutes).

Move your BTC to a more user friendly wallet to extract your BCH, like Coinomi (Android), or Jaxx (mobile, desktop, browser).

Thanks guys,

have not moved the coins at all, but for some reason when I looked up my main address which was created when I started Electrum, on blockdozer it showed that it was being moved between addresses back in July(I can only assume they were all my addresses) I have found the final destination address by tracing it on blockdozer which is one of mine which I have the private key for. I no longer hold BTC there any longer so should be safe to bring them out of hiding. I will try again with just the one key this time when I knock off work and let you know how I go.

Thanks again

Hi All,

So I went in again and started a new electron cash wallet and imported the private key that is lined up next to my address where I have found my bitcoin cash. It still says that I have 0.0mBCH in my wallet. So now I have have a wallet with all my keys imported in, a wallet with my seeds in and a wallet with just the private key that is lined up next to the actual address where my bitcoin is on blockdozer. I work away from home and cannot download a full node wallet at the moment, should I wait until I get home and download a full node wallet and try again?
Also in Blockdozer it shows my bitcoin cash as BCC, where as in my Electron cash wallet the unit is BCH, does this have anything to do with it?

Thanks again in advance.
