altcoins opinion

Hi all,

I have been holding onto bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin since earlier this year and made some profits but recently have been researching and getting into other altcoins. Just wanted to get some opinions. (I took $5k of profits and reinvested into the below altcoins).

Would you do anything different?

$1400 worth of NEO
$1200 worth of LISK
$1000 worth of QTUM
$800 worth of POWR
$600 worth of OMG

I don't know all of the symbols that you listed, but those that I know are token instead of coin, and these are ICO token, which I don't really believe on it. Why don't you invest in other coins like you did at ETH, LTC?

I'd take a look at the privacy coin market as well. Monero, AEON and maybe Zcoin are worth researching.

I'm see your all status what you say on above and I think you are right action to buy altcoin. Altcoin is a future and you can check swp coin,  recently it is a more value able so you can hold it for your better profit.

Neo lisk and omg are good type of investments, i researched about these 3 coins. They have a good project and concepts. You would really say theyre far from legit. I don't know about the other 2 coins. But very good portfolio.

All in your stash seems good and is profitable except powr. If I were you, I would change it into waves, I think this particular coin has the most potential for growth by next year. With the incoming updates, waves would not only run tokens but will also be the one of the fastest blockchain the cryptoworld will ever see if updates are implemented successfully without fail. Knowing it's devs they will try their best to pull it off, Sasha Ivanov, the creator of waves is also as trustworthy and has good reputatoon like ETH's creator, Vitalik Buterin. It might follow ETH trends so invest on it while it's cheap.

Good point - Do you think there is not much growth with POWR especially after they tied up their agreement with Aussie govt.?

You should have just hold more of Bitcoin and Ethereum as this two definitely will give you more profit in a long term basis. But since it's your money for you to decide, you have a list of of coins that have potential and gaining fame. Waves is also good coin for a long term basis and there are many more. I can see you have eyes on whether a coin is to be dump or to be hold, good luck out there.

When you say many more - which ones are you thinking of? Also - I have majority of my holdings in BTC, ETH, and LTC (80%). The other 20% are in these altcoins listed above. Just wanted to get my feet little more wet in the altcoin market and see what I can do.

NEO is giving all the signals of bearish market. Today wasn't the right day to buy NEO imho. POWR went crazy recently because of the speculation of it to be on the Palm Beach report and yesterday it came down as the coin was DASH. Right now buying POWR was also not a right move. Price might fall more in coming days and then you would have jumped in to buy.

Personally, I like LISK but recently exited after marking the profit. BTC is bullish and hence I am focusing on short term trade. When Bitcoin will get stable or go a correction, I ll buy altcoins and hodl for longer. If you want to add some more coins in your portfolio for long term, go for XRP, ZEC and ETP.
