Integrating bitcoin in luxury car rent business

Thanks for the opportunity to stay here, this is my first post. I spent hours reading posts and i found many very interesting. With my partners we're deciding to integrate bitcoin as payment method. We're a group that rents suv, sports car, luxury cars and supercars in Europe, especially in France, Switzerland and Italy, but in the past years we're getting many requests from Spain and northern Europe.

During 2017 we get around 5 requests from customers to have the possibility to pay in bitcoin, so here we are.

We're reading about many companies that offer Bitcoin gateway systems and they look very professional. My question is: what do you think about the possibility to integrate btc in this business?

Among our clients we have companies, think-tanks, travel agencies and citizen in vacation or biz trip in Europe.

https://bitpay.com/ is one of the best known out there I also know that they can proccess even large transactions if needed (like buying real estate and so on). Whith bitpay you can chose that they only credit your account in fiat currencies so if you don't want to you don't need to know what is bitcoin but rather you simply need to implement their solution - their API.

In general you can attract some costumers that have bitcoins and who want to spend them but don't want to turn them over to fiat currencies because of the taxes or whatever might be the reason, it costs nothing to try

Some merchant solutions for bitcoin:

• https://bitpay.com/
• https://www.coinbase.com/merchants (coinbase is an exchange with largest amount of users I think, they are also reputable)
• https://gocoin.com/ (with them you can accept litecoin and dogecoin alongside with bitcoin)
• https://www.blockchain.com/enterprise/index.html
• https://www.bitcoinpay.com/en/
• https://coinsbank.com/merchant

   

of course you will want to look which ones has the features that you need, look for fees - reviews of each etc. Check about legal issues that might occur maybe etc etc

There is always the paid way to use advertisements such as ads on bitcointalk.org , maybe bitcoin comunity on reddit , https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/,  some cryptocurrency related websites such as coindesk , bitcoinmagazine, cointelegraph etc.

Ask some blogger to write an review

Of course social media - this even doesn't need to cost much if you know how to do it well: such as making a thread here, making an reddit post , twitter, fb, instagram ...

Good idea man, why not? Espessialy if it will not cost you a fortune to integrate crypto in your business. I suppose that accepting BTC in your business will work first of all as marketing tool. But that 5 petential customers who wanted to pay n BTC would be happy for sure!) Good luck!

Implement BTC (or any other crypto) payments is not too hard. The main thing you need to consider is legislation and taxation. Because there dozens of merchant solutions (more coming up) but no exact answer on how to be legal and how to pay tax in this case. When you'll fix it and know howTo, just choose favorite merchant and be happy with BTC payments)

P.S How insane should people be to buy cars and such kind of assets with BTC instead $$$?
