Guys sorry for being noob in  building mining rig.. i was posted before about what are mining rig could i build with $900
and i wanted to budget my investment for mining.. Now i just found my old CPU and still working as of now and i would like to use it for mining do you think it can be work in mining?

MotherBoard is MS-7410ma
Here is the specification http://mxdtr.com/ms-7410-specs/

Can you recommend if what GPU will work with this board? i just tried my old GPU with radeon HD 5450 and its work fine but didn't use for mining..
I need some experienced people to recommend GPU that fits with this board.
I see it has a PCI x1 that i think i can use with riser. .

Most modern GPUs should work with this MB. Technically any GPU should work, but in practice some cards refuse to work with some old chipsets (more likely to happen with AMD Polaris cards). You can either install one card straight into the motherboard, or could connect two cards with risers.

What do you mean refuse to work with old chipsets? do you mean the integrated GPU or built gpu? or the chipsets from north bridge and south bridge?

Just adding this specs that i added in my mother board..
CPU:Intel r Core 2 duo E8300
Ram memory: 2gb kingston

I was planning to buy riser and gtx 1070 from online shopping lazada here in my country..
And wanted to budget the small investment to start mining and if i run this in  my old pc or motherboard  i will use it as temporary board while saving my money to buy asrock h110 btc pro or biostar tb250-btc pro specs in the future i just slowly invest my money for mining..

There were reports from people not being able to run some modern GPUs on some older motherboards. I don't remember the exact details but I think it was about AMD Polaris cards not working with some socket 1155 (Sandy/Ivy Bridge generation) motherboards. All you get when you turn on the PC is black screen, no video output. Something about GPU BIOS being incompatible with some older boards, I guess. These occurrences are very rare, but still it happens sometimes. Most of the time it's not a problem and if your motherboard has pci-e slots then any GPU should work. It's just hard to say with 100% certainty. 99.99% that it'll work fine. Smiley

It's actually pci-e 1.1 with his G33 chipset, not even 2.0.

I see it has a PCI x1 that i think i can use with riser. .
the pci-e x16 slot if what makes it fine, although for mining, it would be nice to have a second pci-e x16 slot for crossfire or sli

You could stick a 1080ti in there and make like $3-5/day not considering increase in coin values, or just buy a new cheap motherboard with 3 pci-e x16 slots and crossfire or SLI support

any pci-e 16 card will fit, so yes a 1080ti, or a AMD Vega, or whatever

The planning comes in when you decide if you want to go with multiple gpu's in the future.

for that, you should look into building a mining rig rack setup and if you like nvidia the 1070ti's would make a great rig if you have the money
