More often an advisor is just a famous person within the sphere in which an ico is being  held -  a banker,  a professor,  an engineer. And their main task is to sell. They are a kind of VA Angels Grin but normally they are dressed:))

We sit back and collect. Advising ICO's is tremendously easy, if you have knowledge about everything-crypto related. The most difficult thing, is building the connections, then you get passed around like a whore.  Shocked
how much do these companies pay advisers? and is it a full time job

Hello!Advisors job in ico is to do best advertising for project,like Ronnie O'Sullivan in betterbetting he advertise the project in many celebrations,events and help whole idea go forward.I think project pay advisors simply to get popular face to represent the project in highlights,simply.
