If BITCOIN keeps growe what will happen to Altcoins?

Well I am certainly not an expert but heres my thoughts.

As bitcoin grows, alts will move up with it, maybe at a slower rate than bitcoin, but they will move up with bitcoin. There are many amazing projects out there that are very promising and so even though bitcoin is the leader, once people learn more about this space they will buy into alts that have good tech. Bitcoin got the ball rolling, its going to be a bright future for cryptocurrencies. Another thing to keep in mind is that most alt coins will actually die out eventually. many of them have been started up in ICO's which gained them a lot of money, but if there is no solid tech behind their projects they are doomed. So yes many alt coins will disappear along the way but the few that are solid projects will survive.

First thing Bitcoin is master/prime currency among cryptomarket. Each and every cryptocurrency is indirectly connected to bitcoin as its value can be decided in price of BTC.

So obviously price of altcoins also get impacted with increase in price of Bitcoin against Fiat currency globally. But many altcoin holder dump their altcoins for higher exchange value in fiat currency while price increase against Bitcoin.

This is a very important question. Particularly for people like me who invested in altcoins and have been waiting for months. Bitcoin keep raising but this will sureley stop at some point. We have seen an example of what could happen during a panic sell. What is very strange is altcoin prices and eth prices have fallen with Bitcoin price drop today. I hope 2018 will be a better year for altcoin investors, because 2017 was very very bad.

Basically these altcoins are chained with the main coin which is bitcoin. Positive effects to bitcoin can also have a positive outcome to altcoins as they were passing through bitcoin and vice versa if negative happens.

Bitcoin increases do not always have a negative impact on alt coin. Sometimes alt coin increases as btc increases.

Im no expert but bitcoin price rises and reaches new all time highs altcoins will also be impacted by it cause some the investors move their money in alts that they think that has a good technology but some altcoins dont last long with no good devs and technology behind it. But still bitcoin is far more superior because it is the number crypto and continue's to improve.

Bitcoin increases do not always have a negative impact on alt coin. Sometimes alt coin increases as btc increases.

That's because there are 2 forces at play here. One is the thought that BTC is paving the way for the rest. When it becomes popular all cryptocurrencies appear in the media, the interest rises and so do the prices.
The other thing is that some cryptos oppose BTC and/or are feeling the niche to give their users features that BTC doesn't have, like better encryption, better anonymity, faster and cheaper transactions, cheaper and easier POS mining, and so on.
