I want to know if it is possible to set up a rig that would be dedicated to searching for Uncle blocks or is it simply just the luck of finding one.

I have seen some miners getting tons of uncles in addition to there regular shares/payout. If I set up a new rig can it be used just for the exclusive purpose?

I know if my not seem wise to do that, I just want to know it can be done and how because im not finding information for the past week of looking into this.

Thanks all!

No can not work as any block can be an Uncle.

So if you hit a good block not an Uncle what do you want to do toss it?

makes a lot of sense when I read it like that.

thanks for the quick response.

So basically, I need to have as much hashing power to have the best chance of getting an Uncle block as well while mining.
