Sanjay Malhotra has been appointed as new RBI government after Shaktikanta Das's tenure ended so now the inflation rate is at peak especially the essential items like vegetables, groceries are on pretty much tripled this year and we know our finance minister will answer that what are the ways to control the prices or onion or any item in particular her reply will be 'I don't eat it' so now the RBI can intervene to control this situation any further? like tax rate cuts, more loans to agriculture that increase the production rate means decreased price for the consumers.

Inflation is not that easy to control. They will print money trying to control it but prices of common goods are often going beyond the roof. Ultimately the people suffer and they have to bite the bullet and continue toiling on.

One person cant just come in and stop all inflation, it takes years of planning and implementation. We just have to sustain through it.

I don't think the new RBI governor will be able to do any wonders at all! The basic rule for controlling inflation is to control the consumer spending. So the repo rate needs to increased to drain out the liquidity. Now if the consumers spending decreases, it will have an impact on the production and growth of the industries who are already struggling to pay the interest. Show the current situation is more like a double edged sword. It's not easy to control.

However considering the Modi government is more favourable towards the industry bodies, the repo rate is likely to get decreased so that the industrialists will get some relief. The government is really no bothered much about the commoners.

The government appears more focused on revenue collection through taxation rather than alleviating economic pressures on ordinary citizens.

Take, for example, the recent case of Gukesh, who won the chess championship at just 18 years old. He received an award of 11 crores, only to have more than 4 crores taxed by the government. This raises a critical question: What tangible support did the government provide to help Gukesh achieve this remarkable feat? What's your point? I don't think we have much States left in India under communist rule anymore! I believe it's only Kerala now which contributes around 4% to India's GDP. what are trying to prove by saying they only demand without providing anything?

I guess he is referring to states in south India who are the highest contributors and yet they are the losers. If, I remember there was a video by the late Vinod Dua a few years back where he highlighted what a mess is North India and how much South India is contributing to the development of India more than the North.

I don't have the link as of now but I will try and find it. I saw that video and I still remember there is a big contribution as in tax and other revenue by south Indian states particularly by Kerela and how states like Bihar, UP & MP are granted more revenue by the central government to improve thier revenue.

If you follow politics and elections in India you would understand that the states I quoted are the ones that have a high number of seats for the Lok Sabha election. The Southern states are high contributors in terms of central revenue but the seats in the Lok Sabha election are lesser than the North State. That is the reason why they get more development funds than the Southern states.

yes certainly, I follow the country's politics carefully because what will happen in our state depends a lot, in fact everything on what happens in the event of elections, I also think that it is right that there are more funds in those parts of the country!

If you understand the political structure you wouldn't have agreed that north india gets more finance and recognition in terms of seats for loksabha. I guess this the right time that the central government focuses more in electoral seats for South Indian states. If not then we will see shit load of Bangladesh citizens coming here and getting settled. As of now most of these illegal cockroaches are being sent back or are being legally excuted.
