I believe that the statement about Bitcoin attributed to that guy can be correct. Bitcoin is representing a risk but also some great rewards if one will just 'hodl' on to it. We have to remember that in anything we do and get into, there would always be risks and Bitcoin is not an exemption. There is no investment which is risk-free even those guaranteed by the government. It is a matter of knowing the risks involved and the corresponding returns on investment if things would turn out to be good in the end. These are the reasons why a good investor has to assess and do his due diligence before plunging into Bitcoin. Bitcoin can be a good investment but an informed investor can help the cryptocurrency much better. The bottom line here is that the decision to enter Bitcoin has to come from the investor himself since it his money that is involved here.

Look at bitcoin only as an investment. It infuriates me but there's nothing I can do about it. Bitcoin is rising in price and this can very badly affect the credibility in the future. Bitcoin was conceived as a tool for a free economy. What he has become now? A tool for speculation? If nothing changes we will lose it.

I am totally agreed with your statement. The graph of bitcoin especially in this year is very abnormal as compare to other currencies.

Investing into anything is and will always be a risk. Those that go all in usually end up broke, only put in what you are willing to lose and consider it even lost and see what happens in a time frame of like 6 months. Buying bitcoin now at a price lose to 10k$ will be a huge risk, as fast as it went up it can also go down, so beware.
