United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission will allow Bitcoin futures to trade on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Then the world’s largest and oldest futures exchange, the United States Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME) announced that the launch of BTC Future will begin December 18, 2017.
CBOE has also submitted to regulatory authorities the identification of relevant products for BTC futures, which is still to be announced.
