But if it is true then it may encourage the investors to buy more bitcoin since the price of crypto currencies are also recovering so you can now make profits by investing on the right time.And I heard that India also taking steps to regulate the bitcoin in their local exchanges so countries started to accept bitcoin so yeah bitcoin era started now and people can invest on it without fear.

If that news is correct and is seen widely in reddit, social media and generally in internet then I can say a good correction will happen really soon. I think such news has the power to bring the price of bitcoin up to 13k Usd or a bit more. Even if the correction doesn't happen soon it is still a good news for bitcoin in general.

Markets won't move on news from Russia. Those come each months and the next month is totally the opposite.
Probably second worse situation after the monthly Chinese ban.

Russia officially has not legalized bitcoin as for now. But it plans to regulate cryptocurrency market of Russia and there was an announcement by the government officials about the cryptocurrency bill being introduced which might be adapted by March this year.
If bitcoin is legalized in Russia then by means of its vast resources and cheap electricity (As Russia is the 4th largest electricity producer after USA, China and Japan), which will lead to surge in volume, demand, and interest which might allow specifically the Russians to compete with other countries as a major cryptocurrency market.

I do not know if this news is true but if it is true then it will be great for the crypto currency community. Russia is a big country and if legalizing it will give non crypto investors  confidence to invest in crpyto making the demand bigger and will drive the price higher.

Russia is one of those countries that probably will not legalize bitcoin for many years because there are so many conflict of opinions among them apparently!
one day i hear some of them say bitcoin should be legalized and some time later someone else says it should be illegalized!

Is there some official link about it? Cause every month some people say news like this.. Russia legalize bitcoin, china bans bitcoin and so on.. But always change nothing.
Before or after, all country will legalize it cause they want to take a part for the taxes.

Even if Russia will legalize Bitcoin (it is sad to say but it is impossible during next 2-3 years) and other cryptocurrencies, I'm sure it will not influence on global crypto market at all.

Yes the advanced countries when allow bitcoin for acceptance and other payment matters then the  price of bitcoin will also affected and it is a good sign of bitcoin for the future as the government of Russia allow bitcoin and given a legal status then  this will give strength to the bitcoin and the other crypto as well. The government like china will also make sure the legality of bitcoin and this bring many happiness on the faces f bitcoin users as well.

The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation (Minfin) has presented the Digital Assets Regulation Bill which defines and establishes a regulatory system for cryptocurrencies, ICOs, mining and trading, local news agency TASS reported today Jan. 25.

Notably, the central bank of Russia disagrees with Ministry of Finance that cryptocurrency exchange should be legally accepted. According to the central bank, the digital currency trading rules should be only applied to tokens that would attract financial investments.

They are just discussing stuff.

Even if they have gone ahead and legalised it, it won't make any difference to bitcoin's price. Russia is a poor country with a smaller GDP than Italy's. It is also a country with capital controls - so it should be interesting to see whether legalising crypto makes money flee

If Russia really legalizes Bitcoin and crypto-currencies, then  the quotes surely will begin further growth.
For a long time there was no such good news. Usually we hear about how many countries prohibit crypto-currencies.
