• MobiPromo provides free Wi-Fi Internet access for internet users in locations such as shopping malls, train stations, and other high traffic public areas. To use their Wifi, users are engaged with advertisement by brands or merchants
• The company is currently operating Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the US and South Africa. They are now planning to develop the next generation, decentralized version of MobiPromo, Content and Ad Network (“CAN”)
• “Cost-per-click”, is an usual practice in the advertising industry. However, this model involves a high volume of micro-transactions since the advertising dollar received from brands need to be shared among the platform, traffic providers and other affiliate partners
