Hello,
I just received my Avalon minor and I'm having trouble connecting. I have followed the wiki page https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Avalon
on how to get started and the steps to take. I get connection timed out or something along those lines when connecting to. I will pay for some help as I want to get up and running ASAP.
Thanks

 I've done the following
Connect your laptop to the eithernet port of the Avalon
Setup your laptop IP address 192.168.0.101 (IPV 4)
Open http://192.168.0.100

it just won't go anywhere from there. It should bring up a page, but it doesn't and just times out.
Any help would be great! will reward someone if can help
regards,
Brian

First, double check your computer's network settings (also, what OS?). Your subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0. I'd make your default gateway 192.168.0.100 (the Avalon's IP) as well. I'd also try restarting the Avalon, you never know.

Also try pinging and telnetting to the Avalon at 192.168.0.100.

EDIT: I assume you've already popped her open and made sure nothing looks awry inside. Cables secure, nothing loose, etc. Make sure the cables to each module are secure, as well as the USB powering the WR703N.

If you set computer to 192.168.0.101 in windows, try restarting.
