So I'm looking to purchase some altcoin ASICs, and it seems like the only place I can find the ones I want are from this store called Miningstore5111 online in China. Apparently they have a brick and mortar store in China, but I can't seem to find anyone whose actually purchased from them before. I've contacted them asking for a photo of the miner I was interested in with my username on a piece of paper, and at first it seemed like no problem but then they messaged me back and said "sorry we will have to wait until the holidays are over". WTF is up with countries overseas always using the "holiday" excuse....Ive heard it from developers in India and now from China when Im trying to get a photo received from them. I also asked them why they didn't have any reviews and they said that their website is only a few weeks old? Everything just sounds so fishy despite the fact that they have been very responsive.

The website is http://5111.store - Anyone ever had any experience with them or had any friends who bought from them? I feel very uneasy about forking over thousands of dollars to a company overseas who doesn't have any reviews or history. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

Only buy from sources that you trust or that have significant positive feedback from the mining community. What you are describing sounds very fishy and I wouldn't give them a penny myself.

Bought directly a Baikal  from   Baikalminer.com

and a L3+ Scrypt Miner from Bitmain from  China and there was never any Issue !

As Elder III  has written  "Only buy from sources that you trust"   and do a research for yourself because there are so many Scammers  out there !

Looks like it's one of the "trusted vendors" on the asic miner value website. I would still be very cautious until someone have bought from them and confirm?

Dear AllDayTrader,

I see you are up to date with coins etc, but you need to do research with what you got.  Take the video on their webpage for example - I clicked on it and followed it to youtube where some french guy has posted it with the following -

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

English translation (google translate)
It is therefore a friend who proposes to mount for you a bitcoin mining machine directly from China with 6 or 8 special MINING graphics cards [P-106-100] [1060], become Crypto Mineur at shock price for a max of profits.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Basically.  It ws posted in Oct 2017.   So it CANT be the sites video.  Also they have everything in stock.. if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck..its a scam.

I hope that can help you with accessing if a site is a scam or not.  You told us they said its a newish site, cant take pictures in a timely manner or at all and posted an old video of a french man.. and this is meant to be in China.

It could just be that the site decided to send a miner or two (or some sort of monetary bribe) to the owner of AsicMinerValue and they decided to list them at trusted- anyways, I haven't been able to find any information regarding whether or not they're legit as of right now except for this very thread. I wouldn't purchase from this site until someone provides sufficient evidence (pictures of gear with name next to it, invoice, etc) that they've recieved working gear from the site. The French video they put on their site is definitely suspicious to me considering they're supposedly a Chinese vendor.

@junkieforcoinzzzz My intentions is to buy an ASIC, i am not trying to support 5111. store some how, but i done my homework as follows

1. Checked their website on scamadviser.com .. it says it's in Canada and trusted, i am not convinced
2. Cheched High Tech E Shop Limited at HK Company register for papers, here are the papers https://we.tl/r7j42NDHSr
3. Director DIMITRI, Peter Jean , Secretary of Board another company DESN BUSINESS CO LIMITED (probably for company formation)
4. No other informations about the frenh guy til now ( no facebook, no youtube )
5. 5111 is the booth number from video
6. No localization of the store on Waze, Google Maps etc..
7. Low transactions in blockchain for their BTC Wallet 3D1h3x5KwM23sQWx6MKmCwy19KP21c8cRx ( only 4 transactions )
8. Bank account opened at DBS BANK (HONG KONG) LTD with payment instructions

So from everything i wrote, i am not yet convinced about this guys..
I supose they have some connections with Belgium since there are some ebay announces related to the A9 Zminer.. available to pick up in Belgium
an they said on an earlier post they intend to expand in Benelux

Hello, guys I personally know the owner of this company. You can trust it without any problem.

https://5111.store/en/

They are listed on the main website that shows the profitability on ASIC AND RIGS : https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/ibelink/dsm6t

They make a video with a well known youtuber in france : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7mwD12xme4
