I want to own Addiction shares but I'm trying to understand why the price of shares has dropped. Something that I don't know? Is it because of the delay in GB 2 and 3 delivery?

In my opinion Non-US citizens have a great buy opportunity. Us Citizens are screwed.

Bitfunder will soon be closing to the US

Quote
Important Notice (October 8th, 2013):

Please be advised that BitFunder is implementing the following rules and procedures:

As of October 8th, 2013, BitFunder will not accept new registrations from any United States persons or entities. All new registrants must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account. BitFunder may, in its sole direction, decline to accept any new registrations.

As of October 8th, 2013, all current BitFunder users who are located in the United States or are determined to be United States persons or entities will not be able to enter into any new positions on the Bitfunder website, and, as of November 1, 2013, such users will also not be allowed to sell positions on the BitFunder website.

All current BitFunder users who are not United States persons or entities must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account before November 1, 2013. Any such users who fail to provide the necessary information will not be able to enter into or sell positions on the BitFunder website as of November 1, 2013.

Users will be able to withdraw holdings and Bitcoins from their BitFunder accounts before and after November 1, 2013.

All assets and issuers must demonstrate that they meet BitFunder's requirements for the listing of assets, or the assets and issuers will, at BitFunder's sole discretion, be denied access to, or removed from, the site. Issuers will be notified of any additional information needed to demonstrate compliance with BitFunder's requirements.

BitFunder appreciates your understanding in these matters as we move forward.

Sincerely,
BitFunder

Bitfunder is closing itself off to US residents, idiots are panic selling for fear that they will not be able to get their funds back.

Tyrion and Blastbob,

I'd like you to issue my share of the payouts to my non-Bitfunder address. As a US resident, I need to stay out of Bitfunder and their restrictions on US residents.

Thanks,

James

yeah but as a usa citizen you have from now until nov 1st to sell off your stock.  i have only 14 shares I purchased a while  back so it is very little money. If you are a none usa person you can buy shares right now and collect a dividend so to all none usa members buy buy buy.  I will hold on to my 14 shares and get some dividends then sell on the 30th or so.  I have something like 2500 shares due me from group buy 2.  the way i read the letter bitfunder will not allow them to be sent to me. so I will have to see what this group buy does.

We'll offer direct shares, give us a few hours to come up with a solid plan to make transfers go smoothly.

Cheers,

We're on it..

Thanks tyrion70, blastbob, we appreciate it, for the rest of you please stop panic selling!

Hey all!

Just posted news on share transfers and divs here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=244042.msg3308356#msg3308356

Please read carefully.

For ppl that only have shares on GB2 and GB3:

If you previously said you wanted shares on Bitfunder and now prefer direct shares on a BTC address please let us know in the next 48 hours by sending a PM to me. In that PM please state your Bitfunder userID, the BTC address you used to pay for the shares and the BTC address on which you want your shares registered.

In the weekend we will not be able to process more PMs because we will be busy setting up the miners, so if you haven't PMd then please wait untill after the weekend. We will be issuing the Bitfunder shares of GB2 (and hopefully GB2 as well) this weekend.

Cheers,
BlastBob & Tyrion70

Thanks for the update! I just NOTICED that I have received a dividend in my local wallet!!! THANK YOU!

After having read your update, I feel so much better. You guys, tyrion and blastbob, ROCK!!! ALL Group-buys ought to have organizers like you. It restores faith in humanity. You guys went so far as to forego your own profit for the sake of the group. I salute you!

What is the payout schedule? Once a week or bi-weekly? I hope it's once a week. BTC price is very volatile, it could be high one week and then drop off the next. If you are able to hold on to your btc's, more power to you. I find that I have to sell at least a part of my earnings. Please consider paying out once a week.

Once a week, so next payout is this Sunday, mainly because of above reasons Smiley
