Hi All,

First off, happy holiday season and congratulations to us all who believe so passionately in crypto, as blockchain is now clearly and undisputedly the future. There are so many great stories about how the recent price surges has led to life-changing wealth and really helped turn around the lives of those who deserve it most. It would seem to this biased writer, that the crypto community has a disproportionate amount of good people in it.

I'd like to take a moment to share the story of a gentleman whom I work with in the services industry. Tom is a good friend and an even better person. He is a devoted single father of three, and the most hard-working and honest person I know. Tom always has a smile on his face and is always willing to take time to help those who are less fortunate than him, despite the fact that life has dealt him some significant adversity. (I will respect his privacy and not describe the sob story) It was actually Tom who first introduced me to the world of Crypto, after one of his "mentors" from church had advised him to invest, knowing that Tom was a single father and dealing with mounting debt and some difficult life circumstances that leads to mounting bills.

To cut to the chase, this so called "mentor" gifted Tom a hardware wallet and in a manner that is still unexplained to Tom and I, as we are not very technical, was able to steal his funds and disappear without having the physical hardware wallet. Tom is obviously devastated and has lost what was a huge portion of his savings. Prior to the theft, he had described his crypto investment as a "hailmary" for his family and that the returns were "life-saving."

For this holiday season, I plan to surprise him and gift him half of my Crypto portfolio in a new wallet I have established, to help alleviate the financial constraints a young family is facing. I understand that we all have hard lives and deal with adversity, and that many internet scams exist. However, I figured it was worth attempting to start a crowd source effort in case anyone was feeling generous this time of year and felt the urge to give back. I assure you, there are few more worthy people of your generosity than Tom and his three girls. I can't wait to see the expression on Tom's face when he sees some of his portfolio has been restored, and I will certainly share the pictures. Any donation of any currency would be amazing. I am posting both addresses below for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and any Ethereum based coins (I think the wallet holds most of the different ones). Please let me know if I am missing something or over-looking something, happy holidays, and thank you for your thoughts.
