ETHOS overlocking. Settings not taking effect

Hello,

I am trying to overclock a 1070TI Nvidia card in Ethos.
I am just trying to up the memory with this line in local.conf
globalmem = 4400

When I reboot I still see this with "show stats"

mem:                                      3802 3802 3802 3802 3802 3802

Thoughts on why this would not be taking effect?

u need to delete content of remote.conf, otherwise on every reboot local.conf will be restored from web

I have e already done this. My mem confit is being ignored in the local file it seems

Any other ideas?
