So I've been trying to search the web for answers without succes so I thought I'll try my luck here.

In January 2015 I made a wallet at blockchain.info and bought a bit of bitcoin for fun. I forgot about it but recently discovered bitcoin's rise etc and wanted to access my wallet. Now I found a note which meets all the criteria of being a wallet ID (string with lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens(-)). So I'm 90% sure this was my wallet ID but when I try to log in I get the message 'unknow wallet identifier'.

Now my question is: could it be possible the wallet ID changed when the blockchain wallet HD replaced the old wallet? Or is it more likey I just mispelled my wallet ID at the time.

I forgot which email I used for the account. Tried all my email adresses to recover wallet ID but none are receiving anything. Also, I haven't found my recovery phrase (yet).

If anyone has any info or tips I would be very greatful!

Your best option is put all the details which you think correct and sent to blockchain support team then they may help you out on this matter.

I never face this kind of issue and using blockchain online wallet for quite long time already. Good luck to recover back your wallet....

Indeed, you should contact support as they may help you recover it, anyways im pretty sure somebody on this forum went through the same and has a story to tell, normally logging into old accounts is hard but most likely you can recover the account.

If you are using the same internet provider you were using at that time then just get your IP address and send it to support and ask them to provide the wallet ID associated with that IP.

In case if you changed your ISP then email your previous ISP and ask them the IP address you were using at that time. but before doing all that make sure you have your password otherwise, it will be waste of time. good luck
