I was just watching the chat on cryptsy and someone named SELLNOW stated that ZET has a bug that allows the block chain to accept blocks of different reward sizes.  He posted this link which shows several 50 reward size blocks.  Can anyone confirm this?  Would this take a hard fork to fix?

This is true for all coins out there. You are allowed to mine a block with less reward than allowed.

For example, if the block reward is 500 ZET, nothing stops you from only claiming only 50 ZET reward for solving the block.

Not a bug and nothing to fix here because it's your own reward. And you are allowed to do what you want. This valid for any system, even Bitcoin.
