I've been trying to look into bytecoin, but I haven't really seen much movement here. Can anyone here with some knowledge on bytecoin further elaborate? Does it look like a decent coin to invest in? I don't mind a medium to long term hodl. Thanks in advance

Bytecoin is dead and buried. Just look to the project, no activity from dev and marketing. There are a lot of good cheap projects: siacoin, verge, ripple ( not so cheap anymore) etc.
