Yes, just like a noob...i've forgotten part of my password. I spent a couple of days reading a posting in the Development & Technical Discussion forums but I can't contact anyone because a lack of postings. If someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. My password isn't difficult at all ...as i didn't expect to use this wallet but there was a mix-up and my friend deposited the coins into this one. Its through blockchain. I have the back up wallet (aes.json) file, identifier, address, and some keywords to go by. I'm not very saavy when it comes to script....if I was, I wouldn't be so desperate right now Sad If someone could just send one of those script guys my way, I would greatly appreciate it!

P.S. coins for everyone that contributes....I promise I won't forget about you!

You said you have your keywords.  You should be able to recover your wallet with these on the blockchain site.

Worst case you could bruteforce it with GPUs and that should not take too long provided your password was relatively short.

actually it's really hard to decrypt the wallet without the password. Next time install keepass or another password wallet.
