So I'm sure most of you will be aware of my recent internet drama with my webhost and I think I've found a way round my problem, because all this cart software that can be used with Bitcoin is so restrictive and frankly contains a lot of unnecessary junk I decided the best way to go would be with a payment processor and do things manually for now. The problem is while I've got the buttons I need and that will work fine, I don't want to give them free reign on the files uploaded to my FTP I may be anti-DRM but I'm not stupid.
I'm currently looking for a link generator of some sort, but I simple don't know much about that, what I would like to be able to do is get the payment from the person with their email address and then send them a link through email which would be something like
www.website.com/downloads/uniquedownloadlink12324532432131. I hope that made sense
of course I don't want any bullshit limits or anything like that or expiry dates like all the other shopping carts have but I think this is the best work around I can think of, all I need is the software or script to do it.
I'll continue searching on my own but I figured it would probably be quicker and easier to ask you guys, I already have bitfreaks download store which is fantastic but as you've gathered I can't use it because my webhost is extremely uptight about file permissions.
