Becoming A Developer

Hi everyone. I got to know about Bitcoin last year but really started reading about it 4 months ago. I have learnt a lot yet have desire for more.

Now, I have plans to become a developer though I have no coding skills. My background is engineering so I guess I should cope well enough.

Could you kindly give me an insight on how I can become a developer that can reproduce something like Bitcoin and Ethereum from scratch?

Where and how do I start?

What websites and courses are available (free and paid) to help me accomplish this in less than a year?
