MSI Afterburner alternative

so what do you guys use since AB only supports upto 8 gpu?   Tried looking for an answer but I can't seem to find any

Download the app. Create a folder and unzip it to that folder.

Run the .exe. It is pretty obvious once you run it how to use it. The post is overwhelming.

Once you create profile for each card, you can create a windows batch file to set your OC on startup.

In the batch file...

OverdriveNTool.exe -r0 -p0"Name of Profile A" -r1 -p1"Name of Profile B" ... -r5 -p5"Name of Profile E" ...

-r0 ---> This resets the OC to default on card 0
-p0"Name of Profile A" -----> Sets the oc on card 0 to profile A

Make sense?

Well, I ended up unplugged the 3 vega cards I have off my 10 1080ti rig (had slot for 3 more) because my psu(s) couldn't take that damn power hungry things!

Will move it to my other rig and see how it turn it tomorrow (that one is only 8 so I should be good there).

For more then 8 Nvidia cards use Nvidia Inspector.

I really like the NVInspector, it can underclock memory to -1000 (twice the Afterburner underclock) but I never wasnt able to control fan speed by NVInspector bat file. It keeps automatic, forcing me to stick at Afterburner. Someone was able to do it?

Afterburner can be used with 13 Nvidia cards

you have to use the settings button to get to them and it works fine

For AMD, Overdrive like it was already suggested, there is also an integrated tool in AMD driver's software, it supports my 2 GPUs just fine, not sure about 8 though. Another alternative could be GPU-Z.

Problem is that it's a mixed and match rig (13 gpu total) so that's why I can't use afterburner.  I tried the overdrive but it's quite confusing since I can't tweak it as I go..   didn't know GPU-Z can over/under clock GPUs

Anyway, I took the easy way out...shuffle my rigs around and now I can control those vega cards (although I do have another problem in another post)...

I have a mix and match of GPUs as well.  All Nvidia 1080 Ti, but some are MSI, ASUS and EVGA.  I've noticed that MSI afterburner isn't properly controlling my EVGA GPUs.  Anyone else notice this?  Is there a work around for afterburner or will I just have to switch software?
