I have both the android and the iphone
My main reason for not giving up my iphone is because when i take notes it automatically syncs to my mac book pro when it's connected to the internet.
Other than that I really love android.

All of the current smartphones have spyware now. As a result of this horrible situation, everybody must be careful about what they say, save on their smartphones. Not just iphones, every technological devices can destroy our private life.

I think this is a fake video to low the trust of apple's users. My iphone 5 have been 5 years and it's still okay for me.

Well, the owner of the phone should report it to the store where she bought it and ask for a replacement. It doesn't mean that everyone who bought an iPhone should dump their iPhone. Because anyone can get hacked.

Pretty much every phone can be hacked so i don't think that would be a reason to dump your iPhone

There are exploits and bugs in every single phone model, I did actually "dump" my iphone in the last year and am much happier with an android device. However, it is impossible to say which is more secure - open source allows anyone to find an exploit, but the more eyes on it - the safer it should be long term. iPhones run a closed source system, which is harder to find exploits in but they are likely to exist for much longer.

All the smartphones currently in circulation are all prone to be hacked and they are spying on us all the time, if that's the case then we should go back to the basic phones that we only use to make and receive calls and send messages. Even with that am sure there is a vulnerability somewhere.

Just as an FYI - read a couple a days ago about how even if you turn off the GPS on your android phone it's still on, so google can track you everywhere - and they refuse to give users the option to really stop being tracked.

I say dump your iPhone because Apple has made it so that it will slow down after one year of regular use.
