TULIPS <J.P MORGAN says btc is tulips..

hen tulips came to the Netherlands, all the world went mad. A sailor who mistook a rare tulip bulb for an onion and ate it with his herring sandwich was charged with a felony and thrown in prison. A bulb named Semper Augustus, notable for its flame-like white and red petals, sold for more than the cost of a mansion in a fashionable Amsterdam neighborhood, complete with coach and garden. As the tulip market grew, speculation exploded, with traders offering exorbitant prices for bulbs that had yet to flower. And then, as any financial bubble will do, the tulip market imploded, sending traders of all incomes into ruin.

For decades, economists have pointed to 17th-century tulipmania as a warning about the perils of the free market. Writers and historians have reveled in the absurdity of the event. The incident even provides the backdrop for the new film Tulip Fever, based on a novel of the same name by Deborah Moggach.

The only problem: none of these stories are true.

What really happened and how did the story of Dutch tulip speculation get so distorted? Anne Goldgar discovered the historical reality when she dug into the archives to research her book, Tulipmania: Money, Honor, and Knowledge in the Dutch Golden Age.

Crypto or gold ..

Good points for gold..

You can decorate things in gold that would be expensive..
You can make mechanical parts that are expensive..

Bad points for gold..

You cannot eat it so no good ..
You cannot pass it to the other side of the world in so many seconds..
If a war it's to heavy to lug around..
If in war and your golds in a bank they get looted so all your gold gone..

Crypto bad points ..
You can get hacked  and lose everything much easier than a bank..

Good points..
Safe if in war easy to run with ..
No dilution to the coins like cash ..
Proof of ownership ..
Easy to buy things with if all parties except ..
basically no government rouge leader can steal your monies..
country collapses you don't because same value in another..

JP MORGANS tulips..

BAD POINTS for TULIPS..
You can make as many as you like and anyone can do this like BLAG 20 DOLLAR BILLS..
They rot ..
You cannot pass a tulip to japan if in England so easy as crypto..

Good points for tulips ..
They are look nice in your garden Grin..
Easy to grow ..

Your positive/negatives are not exactly balanced.

e.g for a negative for gold you have you cant eat it, you cant eat crypto either.

Easy to run with crypto?  If you have a usb with wallet.dat on it that could be confiscated or an online wallet but then you need access to a device, power, internet.  I would also say it was easier to buy goods with gold globally over bitcoin, maybe not directly but you can convert gold to the local currency anywhere on the planet.

There is a reason that pilots during the war were issued with gold sovereigns as part of their survival kit.

In the end they are both inedible and can be hard to transfer in times of conflict, though gold is much harder to lug around but would remain the same if safely stashed. They are fine during times of stability but when shit hits the fan, even a can of beans would be worth more.

Gold can be used as currency amidst a war natural disaster, power outage, EMP attack etc.
