5 LTC Bounty - Get 4+ cards recognized on MSI Z77A-GD65 [SOLVED]

Apologies for the cross-post here, but I'm dying to figure this out.

Have no clue what I'm missing here. I have an MSI Z77A-GD65 and am trying to run 4 Gigabyte 7950s on it. I have the exact same board running 6 cards on a different rig, but on this one I can't get Windows to see more than 3. Haven't installed VC drivers yet, as you can see from the pic. Plz let me know if you have gotten around this or if you know of a definitive fix.

Wish I could explain what the fix was, but after several restarts, and attempting to install the cards in XBuntu, the motherboard recognized all of them and I was able to see them in Windows too.

Hi. Which AMD drivers version do You use in Win7 ? I have the same motherboard, but it detects 4 x 7870XT properly and 5th with code 43 error

Using 12.10 but haven't attempted to add a 5th card yet.
