I'm looking to start mining. My buddy want to give it a go.

We are looking to buy at least 4 GPU's. And if need be to up to 6.

So, that being said what brand, how much watts we would need for a PSU and Memory, mobo and CPU?

Thanks.

You need to know what coin you want to mine first. This will help determine what direction you go with your rigs.

Mining originates from the gold analogy of the cryptocurrency sphere. In simple, cryptocurrency mining is a process of solving complex math problems. “Miners” are people that spend time and energy solving these math problems. They provide the solution to the issuers, who verify it and reward the miners with a block of Ether. Intuitively, an increase in mining difficulty means it becomes harder to solve complex problems, and therefore to fewer rewards. We’re at a current peak in Ethereum difficulty due to its very high demand and popularity.

In Mining Bitcoin world there are two ways to start Mining Bitcoin, first through Cloud Mining and second is Local Mining / Mining itself. Both have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Excess Cloud Mining is no need to prepare all the tools but the drawback is there are maintenance fees, account security, scam, active period Mining.

While the advantages Local Mining / Mining itself is definitely guaranteed results, no maintenance costs, Mining for as long as you want. But the lack of Local Mining is you have to prepare Hardware, electricity, air conditioning, and security, must monitor and hold Mining.
