Not to be mean, but this is what you get with centralised currencies. If they behave like this and promise it will be decentralised in the future I can't really imagine them sticking to that promise. This behaviour clearly indicites they like control, else they would be more easy going and letting the code play out what happens in the system and try to fix that code instead of acting like a central bank.

With a decentralised currency they wouldn't have been able to take your coins hostage as you control your keys or w/e they use on DAG. I'd be pretty mad though if I were you. Its like Cyprus.. but on the internet.

I don't know how much money you have with them. And maybe you should see if there are terms & Conditions you agree to using their centralised currency, else you might be able to take legal actions against them.

I realize my mistake Smiley thanks for pointing that out though. Didn't thought they are actually centralized and have the control over funds.
Will never invest again in a coin which status in unclear about that.
And I am mad as hell, you wouldn't believe, even don't care anymore if I eventually let the price dip.
My iota are worth 18K usd right now... definitely gonna take legal steps against them if they won't answere me in the next days.

Yeah I was shortly into IOTA myself, missed the huge pump as I sold just before 1 dollar but was only really in it for the money. I had heard about previous occasions where the IOTA foundation had frozen members funds. Besides they come across as douchebags on their social feeds anyway and I can't really invest into something I don't believe in.

Goodluck I hope you get your funds back!

didn't you know they have like 12-13% of all iota in custody (plus the 5% the community donated them)?
of course the price got pumped hard Cheesy
and they even admitted selling iota at around 5$, while all the reclaimers aren't able.
thanks for the luck, will need it Wink
