13 word seed not recognised by Electrum wallet.

Hi all.

My original LTC wallet was set up some time ago and provided me with a 13 word seed, this seed is not recognized when I try to recover the wallet, it leaves the 'next' button greyed out. The newer version of electrum wallet provides 12 word seeds, does this mean that my seed will no longer work and I cannot access my coins. I have my master public key which loads up a watching only wallet no problem. I do not have my private master key.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm having a similar issue with an old wallet of mine. Mine is the LTC version though.

EDIT:

I'd been dumb and not checked all the words against the master word list. Be extremely careful when writing down seeds
