What is going to be the next step after the introduction of decentralized crypto-currencies that are either poorly or not at all governed by the states? One of the possibilities is the emergence of decentralized businesses. And some of them already exist. One of them, for instance, is the decentralized exchange DEEX.EXCHANGE that has been developed by Vlad Sapozhnikov and his team.

Following this direction, it's easy to imagine the appearance of decentralized banks, insurance companies, investment funds, etc, that will be managed by the community of users with the participation of AI and other sophisticated algorithms and protocols, rather than by the management of the stand-alone owners and shareholders.

Such decentralized business structures will exist outside of any jurisdiction and will not be a subject to administrative and, even more so, criminal penalties.

I think the next step that governments will try to undertake is an attempt to ban the creation and programming of such decentralized business structures, that are able to function and develop without control of any specific individuals or organizations.

It's already possible to imagine articles in the criminal codes of some countries, such as "Illegal programming of decentralized systems", or "Creation of undesirable (from the point of view of regulatory bodies) AI systems". But the "Pandora’s box" is already open and nobody can keep it shut. If fiat money is in circulation of traditional business and traditional economic relations, then decentralized money is the basis and forerunner of decentralized business and decentralized economy.

A decentralized economy is an economy that, in essence, can be much more effective, because it won’t require additional artificial regulations from outside. Moreover, everybody understands that regulations do no guarantee any stability of economy and financial systems.
