Hello,

I have an asrock btc+ pro motherboard with 13 GPU slots and i have 12 XFX 580  4GB linked to it.
I have a huge problem with the rig, i have tried everything but i cannot find a solution, the problem is that after every restart a different number of GPUs is detected, mostly 9-10 gpus, if i restart the system 10-20 times i get sometimes 11-12 GPUs detect but it's insanely unstable and ofc not a real solution.

Anyone has any suggestion how to fix this issue?
I have updated the bios to the latest version, have GEN 2 active ( did the same on AUTO ), i have 2xServer PSU 1200 each, i have tried to unplug 2 of them and leave 5 on each PSU but with the same result, i initially thought they may not have enough power to start sometimes but still nothing.

I also tried isolating the risers, maybe they were touching and causing some sort of problem, but this did not help eighter...
So i really need help Smiley

Make sure molex is plugged into board, make sure a PCI bank doesn't have two cards from two different PSU's in it.

It did the same on auto, you mean change the USB cables for all the risers?

The molex from a 3rd normal PSU si plugged in the mother board with CPU also, and no, cards only draw power from the same PSU i have them already cabled so this cannot be an idea, any other ideas?

I got that problem and found that 2 cables where almost bad, i say almost because i move the tip and they work but if i move then again they stop working, the problem is inside where the cable of the usb cable and the conector, those cables are really bad quality, if you have more of those cables just change the ones that disapear.

Maybe your PSUs are not all starting up at the same time. Disconnect all the GPUs except for the ones you have connected to just one PSU and see if they all start up.

I've had a similar issue several times and mine were due to the power supplies.
I would have to unplug them and plug them back in.
The same would happen with my server power supplies.
Sometimes it powers them, and other times it would not power one or two fully.
