Coinmarketcap.com is a total fraud.

They are not reporting correct Volumes or Market-caps on their Historical Data tab.

This is affecting many alt coins and their rankings.

Is this fraud?

They surely know this. The number being reported are at least 1/3 less than the real numbers and in some cases 2/3 less.

It seems that most sites are pulling their numbers from Coinmarketcap.com.

This has to be affecting hundreds of coins.

I have noticed this on NYCoin since I have been following it.

None of the numbers are correct or being fixed.

I wonder how they made 24hr volume of 98BTC on Yobbits  when only orders are 1,2,3,4 sat per NYC...

Coinmarketcap collects information on trade turnover of the API from the exchanges automatically. But as far as I know developer must notify them about addition of exchanges, if this is not done then the new exchange will not be displayed.
