I am building my first rig. I got 1x1080, 3x1060 3GB, 1x1050Ti, cpu is i3-6100. My question is if a 850w Gold PSU enough for them?

The harder your life is the more meaning it has.

you need 1200 green or a 1000 cooler master at least for those cards 850 might be enough with some downclocking but it might be very unstable.

If you will not use all your stuff under 100%, but put like PL 85% and do not mine on your CPU and your PSU is a high grade  = you should be pretty ok.

Average gpu would be 120w, total 600
5 risers x PCI riser 30w, 150w
CPU 51w
RAM, SSD, motherboard - 100w

Total around 900w. Because you should not run your PSU for more than 80% load 24/7, add 20%, which comes to 1080w. So 1000w should be suitable.

1000W[80plus Gold/Titanium] is the best option

Thanks a lot for the replies. I managed to move one 1060 3GB to my desktop. So there are 1X1080, 2X1060 3GB and 1 1050Ti left. I plan to put the four cards to the rig. Will 850W gold PSU enough for them?

For safety i think much better to use 1200w 80+ platinum or titanium its much better because it can reduce the power consumption than using gold bronze or silver.. 850w gold would be enough but it depends in your OC..
For safety better to use 1000w or 1200w pltinum or titanium..

It is always batter to use Platinum. If you calculate how much kw/money you will same on yearly basis, it works out cheaper to buy Platinum rather than gold. As long as you don`t have free electricity or it doesn`t cost peanuts. Well worth spending extra money on top quality PSU.

I always use 1300 watt minimum EVGA is best.  Why spend all this $ on nice cards then go cheap on PS.
