Why SHA256? Do the chinese want to sell their Baikal ASICs so much? There's Neoscrypt, Skunk or Equihash for example

Oh yeah, why not make another clone on the neoscrypt: dash, vivo, innova, onex, desaire? Here, most likely, the coin was originally designed for asic, so the developer planned it. Another question is whether it will be interesting to the owners of the asics.
