Some Trezor hardware wallet users are reporting issues with their wallets and problems with Trezor backend.
You should know that with running any hardware wallet including Trezor by default you are not running full node, but you are running light wallet and you are depending on Trezor node in this case.

There are two possible solution for fixing this issue:

1. Run Trezor with other third party software wallets like Electrum (open source), Exodus (closed source) or Metamask/Mew(for ethereum)
2. Run your own Full Node with Trezor

Running your own node is probably the best and safest way because you don't need to trust anyone but more work and setting up is needed from your side.
If you are holding bunch of altcoins don't expect that any hardware wallet will support them forever without issues, so better stick with Bitcoin.

It's been a few days I've experienced the same thing, getting the message All backends are down, especially when I connect Trezor T to Trezor Suite. But when using Trezor T at https://wallet.trezor.io/, it can still function normally.
However, for transactions, I prefer to connect a hardware wallet with Electrum.

No issues with Trezor Suite here at the moment (2021-07-02 01:10 UTC)... it seems to be functioning fine... same with wallet.trezor.io website.

Also, I note in your screenshot that you have TOR enabled... I didn't when running Trezor Suite... perhaps it is something with the TOR connection preventing your Trezor Suite from working properly? Huh Maybe try without TOR and see if it works.

Before that, I didn't have any problem when enabling Tor in Trezor Suite. And recently I tried to open Trezor Suite, and it works fine. As you can see in the screenshot below, I haven't even disabled Tor as you suggested.

By the way, thank you for the advice. If I experience the same thing again, it means that I have to disable Tor.

Not necessarily... it's quite possible it was just fixed by the time I tested and posted my message Wink It was ~14 hours after you posted after all Tongue

Trezor has done great work with adding support for Tor (and I wish Electrum can do something like this) but I think their Suite software is still in beta and some issues like this can be expected.
Btw have you been using default Tor server listed on their software or you have added some custom server?

I think most users who are still reporting issues have been using altcoins like Doge coin, so if you are using just Bitcoin backend issues would probably be avoided or reduced.

It could be so. The Trezor has fixed a bug in the Trezor suite.

Trezor has done great work with adding support for Tor (and I wish Electrum can do something like this) but I think their Suite software is still in beta and some issues like this can be expected.
Btw have you been using default Tor server listed on their software or you have added some custom server? -snip-
Yes, the Trezor suite is still in beta, so there may be some bugs or maybe Trezor will add other new features.
I use the default Tor address and port and enable trezor.io links as .onion links.
